Professor Stivers has been a practicing architect for 24 years in Oklahoma and Minnesota.  In 2001, Jerry became a founding partner of STUDIOARCHITECTURE, recently named Central Oklahoma’s "Firm of the Year".  Prior to STUDIO, Jerry served as Director of Design at Frankfurt Short Bruza, Associate at Thomas, Davis Architects and Designer at Ellerbe-Becket, Inc.  Along with professional practice, Professor Stivers has taught several semesters at Oklahoma State University as an Adjunct Professor.

 Notable works include:  Multi-Modal Transportation Center, Oklahoma State University, Southern Region Corporate Headquarters , Boldt Construction, New Ministry Campus ; Henderson Hills Baptist Church, Advanced Technology Research Center, Oklahoma State University, MAPS Master Plan and Project Definition , City of OKC, Band Facility and ROTC Building, University of Notre Dame.
