Brief Vita: Bachelor of
Architectural Engineering, Oklahoma State University, Master of Architecture, Oklahoma
State University. Licensed architect in New York and Oklahoma. Private practice since 1988
as Seitsinger Williams Architects; designer in the office of I.M. Pei & Partners
in New York City from 1983-87. Faculty of the School of Architecture since 1989; School
Head since 1996. Recipient of the Outstanding CEAT Graduate Award, and the AIA School Medal from OSU in 1981. A member, and past president, of the North Central Chapter of the AIA of Oklahoma. Areas of Interest: Architectural design; representational methods for design projects; computer applications in the design studio; painting and drawing; theatre set design; history and theory of art. The history of architecture through the ages, with particular interest in medieval architecture and culture. Classes teaching/taught: Studios: First year through graduate level. Lecture courses: ARCH 5173, "History and Theory of Medieval Architecture"; ARCH 6143, "Computer Applications in Architecture"; ARCH 6083, "Architecture Theory Seminar"; European Studies Program.
