Suzanne recently
received an OSU Regents Distinguished teaching award for excellence in
teaching. Brief Vita: Bachelor of Architecture, Master of Architecture, Oklahoma State University. Licensed architect in Pennsylvania and Oklahoma. Private practice since 1993 as Bilbeisi Architects; Project Designer, Ballinger Architects, Philadelphia 1989-1993. Visiting Professor at the Middle East Technical University in Ankarra, Turkey in 1998. Faculty of the School of Architecture since 1993. First Dan Black Belt, TaeKwonDo, 2007; OSU Regents Distinguished Teaching Award, 2006, member of the faculty team awarded the 2004 NCARB Prize, National ACSA/AIA Young Teacher Award, 1998; AIANCOC President, 1998, Halliburton Excellent Young Teacher, 1996; Dean's Outstanding Graduate Award, AIA School Medal, and Alpha Rho Chi Medal from OSU in 1988. Areas of Interest: The methods and means of teaching beginning design students; the history of western architecture and its' influence on contemporary western architecture. Classes teaching/taught: Studios: First year through graduate design studios; Lecture courses: ARCH 1112, "Introduction to Architecture"; ARCH 2003, "Architecture and Society".
