Private practice from 1974- present as Alan W. Brunken, AIA; Fulbright Visiting Professor
at Chung Buk University, CHEONG JU, Republic of Korea, 1981. Faculty of the OSU School of
Architecture since 1974. Regents Distinguished Teaching Award,1994; the Edna Mae Phelps Award, 1994; Halliburton Award for Excellence in Teaching in 1993, numerous local AIA awards for design, and a Fulbright Fellowship in 1981. A founding member, and past president, of the North Central Chapter of the AIA of Oklahoma. Areas of Interest: Architectural Design and programming.
