Twenty one architecture students spent this summer in Europe learning about architecture and life. These students, under the tutelage of Professors David Hanser and Jeanne Homer, got a first-hand taste of life in Europe over their 9-week visit. Highlights of their trip included three weeks in Paris and Versailles, two days in Normandy, 6 days in Provence, 7 days in Rome, and 6 days in Venice and Northern Italy. In addition to the organized travel, each student traveled independently to further expand personal areas of interest. As always, analysis and sketching were emphasized, and students were required to keep a journal graphically documenting their travels and to do daily sketches.
